Sept 2008 the Little Knave has been accepted at Girlfest Hawaii!  We are honored and grateful for the opportunity to promote equality and justice for girls and women everywhere.

Aug 2008
We are extremely proud to announce that the Little Knave has been accepted to the San Diego Asian Film Festival!  The festival is extremely competitive and we are honored to be a part of such an amazing event!  If you will be in the San Diego area on October 11th, please join us as we celebrate beautiful filmmaking in a gorgeous location.  For more information, please visit San Diego Asian Film Foundation.

May 2008
the Little Knave was accepted into the Baltimore Women's Film Festival.  We are excited to participate in a film festival dedicated to supporting talented and independent women filmmakers.  The Baltimore festival donates 50% of their profits towards breast cancer research.  I dedicate this acceptance to my mom who was a 5 year breast cancer survivor and to all women fighting this disease around the world.

March 2008 we submitted the Little Knave to a variety of film festivals, including San Franciscio Shorts, POW!, Seattle LGFF, San Francisco LGFF, Rooftop Films, and 1 Reel film fest with notification dates coming up in April. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Feb 2008 We've finished sound editing and are now in the process of cover design in anticipation of submitting to film festivals.

Jan 2008 Having finally wrapped filming, pre-production continues on the musical score, sound composition, voice-over and final editing.  The amazingly talented Eric Schopmeyer lends his unique voice to the areas of original score and sound design.  In addition, he has graciously gifted both his time and his studeo to record the voiceover.  Cheyenne de la vega, the main character in the film, also provides the voice-over talent, proving she is a face to watch out for in both fields.  This is her first film and at the age of 13, she shows great promise both as an actress and vocal talent!

Dec 2007 Update: Oh we of little faith!  The lovely incomparable usps (I'm feeling generous today!) returned all 4 of our missing Velvia friends! Hurrah!

Nov 2007 Lost Velvia: horror story of the week: 4 precious cartridges of Velvia- our abfab favorite super 8 stock- have gone astray; lost in the unwieldy and scary land of the usps system. If you have seen our missing friends, send them back! In the meantime, we pray for their safe return.
